I was looking over Google for some information about how to repair a ZIP LINQ retractable cable that didn't lock into it's positions anymore and couldn't find any information, so I just had to improvise and use my head instead of Google, and this is what I did.
First I extended the cable to it's maximum lenght and then I used graphite (the one used for key locks), I just applied it to the small holes from wich the cable comes from, and thats it :), just extend and unextend the cable a few times so graphite gets well distributed inside the mechanism.
That made it work for me but of course it might not work for everybody, hope this helps someone.
