Can't create a Homegroup in Windows 7

If you are getting this error: "Your network connection must have IPv6 enabled to create or join a homegroup. To enable IPv6, start the HomeGroup troubleshooter."

It means that you may have disabled IPv6 in your computer, to fix this first go to "Control Panel" then to "Network and Sharing Center" on the menu to the left "Change Adapter Settings" from there right click the adpter you want to configure and click "Properties" and make sure IPv6 option is checked.

If you are sure IPv6 is installed in your network adapter and it still doesn't works then try this: press WIN+R keys and type "regedit", go to -> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters]

"DisabledComponents"=dword:000000ff

and replace dword:000000ff with dword:00000000.

If you want to revert the changes just change the settings back to 000000ff
